Tashi T

Tashi Trueheart (it’s a family name, believe it) grew up in the mountains of Colorado. They are inspired by the intense landscapes that they have called home. You could hear a pin drop at one of Tashi T's intimate live shows. Their heartfelt lyrics and captivating voice are a balm for the weary. Tashi's music explores themes of loss, longing and the question of where do we go from here? all with a sense of humor and poetry. 

They have a refreshing take on the Folk/ Americana traditions and their style echoes the influences of Gilian Welch, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, and Bob Dylan while bringing a new perspective to the genre. Tashi T's new music is organically gaining momentum and they are stealing hearts in the Western U.S. and beyond as they hit the road this year.

Tashi's original music has been lovingly received by a growing audience - selling out local venues across the Southwest and touring around the Western U.S, the UK, and Europe this year. In 2026 Tashi T won the Stefan George songwriting competition at the Tucson Folk Festival and is a finalist at two upcoming songwriting festivals.
